About the Opportunity
My Home Hospital (MYHH) is a SA Health initiative that delivers care to patients in the comfort and privacy of their home. You will be one of the primary points of contact for hospital in the home and Covid related enquiries. This role provides phone support to Hospital and Nursing Home in relation to bookings and service requirements.
The purpose of this role is to provide the highest quality ‘over the phone' customer service at all times for all internal and external client enquiries. This is achieved by prompt, courteous and friendly attendance to telephone calls and or face-to-face communication.
Duties:
- Allocation of MYHH same day requests to MYHH/Amplar rostered domiciliary staff;
- Provide Doctors, Hospital staff, Registered Nurses, Clinical Managers, Aged Care Facility staff with details of patient tests booked, upcoming bookings and pathology test results;
- Preparation and management of patient bookings;
- Supporting collection staff with general enquiries;
- Daily reviews of completion of My MYHH and Amplar Health bookings spreadsheet for test/s completion;
- Monthly billing review of MYHH and Amplar Health;
- Liaise with My Home Hospital administration team for direction of patient management for collection;
- Managing incoming enquiries via the Aged Care dedicated hotline or email in relation to Covid support requests;
- Rostering of staff in UKG system as required; and
- Other duties as required.
Applicants should possess the following:
- Polished and professional telephone manner; excellent verbal communication skills;
- Finely tuned interpersonal skills, including the ability to "listen actively", handle difficult customers appropriately and provide an exceptional client experience by phone;
- An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively within a team;
- Excellent attention to detail, an organized manner with meticulous approach to completion of tasks;
- Display flexibility, be able to prioritise effectively and change course of action as required;
- Intermediate computer skills;
- Previous experience in a medical environment and an understanding of medical terminology would be advantageous; and
- Availability to work weekend and public holiday rosters as required.
