About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager you will be working within the domiciliary team to provide Doctors, Specialists, Hospital staff, Practice Managers/receptionists with mobile pathology test booking information.
In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the phlebotomists out on the road, providing telephone support as well as creating the domiciliary visit rounds for the following day. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service to your internal customers with information relevant to domiciliary plotting/round allocation and domiciliary bookings. Availability to work Monday 7am - 3pm, and Tuesday to Friday 7am - 12pm will be required. Training may require full time hours until proficient in the role.
Applicants should possess the following:
- Previous experience in a medical environment would be advantageous, in particular, the following will be highly regarded:
- Understanding of Medical Terminology and correct pronunciation of medical terms
- Reception or Administrative experience
- Switch board experience
- Telephone customer service experience;
- Finely tuned interpersonal skills, including the ability to "listen actively", handle difficult customers appropriately and provide an exceptional client experience by phone;
- Intermediate computer skills;
- Excellent attention to detail; an organized manner with meticulous approach to completion of tasks;
- Display flexibility; be able to prioritise effectively and change course of action as required;
- An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively within a team;
- Right to work in Australia; and
- Current National Police Certificate (Unsupervised Contact with Vulnerable Groups, valid for 3 years).
