About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager, you will be part of the Pre Analytical Leadership team, focused on supporting operational efficiency and performance across the Pre Analytical department. In this role you will supervise and motivate employees, oversee day to day operational activities and support and evaluate performance.

This involves a wide variety of tasks and a degree of initiative and input is welcomed and expected as well as the ability to take direction and follow instructions.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage the day to day operations of the Pre Analytics team
  • Work with the leadership team to develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures
  • Lead and model a positive attitude, professional conduct and a strong commitment to quality outcomes and service delivery in line with organisational values
  • Provide high level management and supervision to support staff, including performance management
  • Identify quality improvement processes
  • Engage strategies to recruit and retain staff
  • Contribute to strategic planning to improve performance
  • Assist to monitor and evaluate financial performance
  • Monitor and reduce error rates
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are met and monitor compliance
  • Build positive and productive team relationships
  • Identify and manage training programs to support operations
  • Acquisition and enhancement of service
  • Business meetings to assess the needs of clients and ability for Clinpath to provide services;
  • Building & maintaining key relationships with key clients;
  • Development of key communication pieces; and
  • Coordination of project tasks, schedules and meetings to support the introduction of any new service or project.

Applicants should possess the following:

  • Previous experience within the Healthcare industry;
  • A qualification in HR management or business;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with intermediate or advanced skills in Excel and Word;
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines;
  • Previous experience managing a team;
  • Experience managing operational processes;
  • Strong project management, administrative management and organisational skills;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills;
  • Proven ability to work independently and identify efficiencies and improvements; and
