About the Opportunity

A rare and unique opportunity to hit-the-ground-running and join an established Finance team!

With the outsourced Payroll team based in Sydney, you will support the fortnightly payroll function by identifying and resolving payroll anomalies, validating payroll data and ensuring compliance with relevant agreement and legislation.

You will also be willing to assist with the Accounts Payable processes as required. This role would suit a person who has had considerable experience in payroll administration and looking to further advance their payroll career working within a supportive team.

Duties:

  • Supporting the payroll function 800+ employees and liaise with pay-office in Sydney for all pay queries, pay errors and changes to employee conditions;
  • Respond and resolve employee queries related to payroll & employee benefits;
  • Accurate record keeping of payroll documents;
  • Ensure data extracted from UKG Pro is accurate prior to processing pays;
  • Establish strong understanding of Enterprise Agreement and Fairwork pay conditions;
  • Assist with Accounts Payable processes as required; and
  • Other duties as requested by Chief Financial Officer.

Applicants should possess the following:

  • At least 3 years' experience in payroll administration in a medium/large organisation with thorough knowledge of pay, tax, leave, and superannuation legislation;
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver professional advice on payroll matters;
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting workplace agreements, policies, procedures, and guidelines related to payroll administration;
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including written and oral communication abilities coupled with a commitment to outstanding client service;
  • Experience with UKG Pro Dimensions (Kronos) and iChris (highly regarded);
  • Intermediate Excel Skills, including the ability to use advanced functions and formulas for reporting;
  • Demonstrated experience of Accounts Payable processes;
  • Experience with electronic accounts payable system Rapid AP / Microsoft Dynamics (highly regarded);
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong time management skills;
  • A high degree of flexibility and initiative, with the ability to prioritise for the benefit of the business, better patient care, and excellent service;
  • Excellent problem solving skills;
  • Demonstrated commitment to service excellence and Clinpath ‘Our Values'; and
  • National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months.
